The Sun headline writers must be literally dribbling at the thought it could happen.

I honestly do not think the country will accept that the party with the second largest number of votes remains in power, especially if that is by teaming up with the party who came third.

The question will be what kind of deal will be struck (if any) between CMD and Clegg.

I wonder if the Labour and Conservative parties have considered forming a coalition.

Nobody could argue that they didn't represent the majority, then, and it wouldn't half piss the Liberals off...

Could you imagine PM Question Time - the opposition would never have the chance to get a word in. hehe

I think it'll be ok. Clegg, by definition of supporting PR, suggests that he's receptive to compromise and negotiation, and Cameron knows that he desperately needs the LibDem support.

I don't think it'll last very long, but I believe that it'll be an opportunity to highlight what a disaster of an MP Brown was. I think I'll put £5 on the next election being 5th. May 2011.

By the way, has anyone seen Tony?

Don't be daft.

She's a champagne socialist, she wouldn't ban us, she'd Tax us until we were fair.

I know (assume!) the OP is saying this tongue in cheek, but Balls has way too small of a majority to even run as leader of the opposition IMO.
