Only 4 days to go to Monaco - first time in a long time that i won't be there frown
always better being there - the atmosphere and environment is like no other. Although the racing can be dull as dish water

Long range forecast is thunderstorms for Thursday free practice
Rain for Saturday
Dry for Sunday

Expect a mixed up grid and lots of incidents

The Spanish race has only just finished, FFS the program is still on and you are posting up next weeks already.. WTF is it like a children's game of whoever can get there first is the winner?

Let this weeks race die down first of all, i understand it is next week but it is taking the piss some what.

Wanted to go for years! May get out there for a couple of days in August as going to the missus parents place in france for 2 weeks, wont be as epic as race weekend though unfortunately!

No idea how any team can out-qualify the Redbulls(1 second ahead??) and you cannot overtake at Monaco. Only a mistake,rain or reliability/blown tyre will stop the Redbulls from a 1-2.

the slow cars are going to be a nightmare this weekend. It was bade nough in boring barcelona, but at least they could overtake. At monaco, they will be stuck behind them for the whole race (think about it: a minnow gets loads of tv time for sponsors if the eladers are stuck behind them.

I wouldnt be surprised if the smaller teams deliberatly dont let the leaders past.

It'll had a long race for everyone unless they can go faster.

YES but Race pace is a different story. And this is a track that is almost impossible to overtake. But yes, there upgrade was as you put it - Epic.

Is the Red Bull race-pace perhaps dictated by tyre-longevity?
Surely, if tyres were not an issue, Webber and Vettel could have disappeared off into the distance yesterday?
Or is it solely down to the low-fuel ride height advantage they supposedly have in quali, which is negated in high fuel race trim?

Looking at the view from Button's car, Schumacher was getting excellent traction while being poor in a straight line. He could be in with a shout of a podium.

The Red Bull should do well, Vettel could wrap it up in qualifying.

I don't think the Red Bulls will have as much of an advantage. I'm going for a Hamilton, Button, Vettel finish with a Lotus in the top 10.

If you count this modern incarnation of the Lotus name as a real Lotus, that would make it the 6th win for a Lotus car at Monaco, 4th for the works team iirc.
I doubt it will happen though.
