The last day of my schooling ever is fast approaching. In about 2 weeks I will be on study leave and before that we have 'muck up day'.

I go to a boarding school, so we will be drinking the night before and most pranks will be done in the evening.

So, the big question:
What could we do (which doesn't do damage) which is quite comical?

before you all have a go at me and tell me to come up with my own ideas, please note that we've got a few biggrin

House master's office, set up as it is in his office but on the rugby field.

You need a good few people and it still takes a while but the result is worth it...

that would be perfect if we could get in... His office is behind a locked door and his bedroom is directly above, so he would certainly hear us frown

take all the school photoes- including the house photos and nail them to trees around the school- we had 2453 framed photos to distribute- took us all night.

Pay for an advertisement in the local rag offering a "open day" (try for the same day as a real open day) but with the offer of free champagne and strawberries. The day the paper comes out post a flyer through the HMs letterbox.

"borrow" some roadwork signs from the local area and divert trafic through the school grounds.

if any of you are handy with the spanners (need some farming friends normally), take apart one of the schools grounds tractors and re-assemble in the main entrance hall. If you can give it a good clean (and use a new one), and put a sign on saying "we really proud of our new canteen" or something equally odd then that works. you will need the 1stXv and 2nd Xv en-masse to do this as you will be talking about a few tonnes to carry and move.

construct an A-frame and put one of the teachers cars on a flatroof (need lots of rope and pulleys as well as a few bits of very strong scaffold). make sure the roof is strong enough first.

Get some plant growth enzyme (find a mate doing Bio A-levels) and write stuff in VERY big letters on the 1stXI cricket pitch- don't be rude- be quirky its much funnier.

just a few that happened whilst at school.

I can't remember the exact the details, it's all a bit hazy, but iirc this worked out quite well last year for this student:

ETA: This may well be quite close to the knuckle, so if it offends anybody I'll gladly take it down asap.

Plenty of reference material should spring from that.

Some kids in the year above me in school put a frozen fish above one of the ceiling tiles in the classroom of a Physics teacher they despised.

It took the school weeks to find it after they first realised heheyuck

We did all sorts, rugby posts in the chapel that the powers that be had to saw in half to get back out before the Archbishop of St. Andrews arrived for the end of term service.
Carried of of the masters cars up the very wide stone stairs that led to the dining hall. It was a Mini estate and we left it half way up.
Other stuff.

Get alot of police/keep clear/ hazard tape or rope and criss cross it across a suitable corridor.

I'm unsure if its funnier to completely block the route, or to allow enough room to tempt people to climb their way through.
