Fuel Pump won't prime?

T350 has been running great recently, out last week end, no issues. Went to start the car on Friday morning, usual start up procedure but no fuel pump whir/prime.
Tried again, still nothing. Locked the car then unlocked, same again no fuel pump.
Checked the fuses for both the fuel pump and imobiliser, both OK. Used the manual imobiliser, no change.
Everything else is working. Got 12.5V on the battery reading on the dash.
I have had a look through the forums, will try the inertia switch above the passenger footwell tomorrow night when I get back from work.
After that I will need to see if I am gettiing any power through to the pump, i.e. check the connectors etc, put 12V across the pump etc.
Any other ideas?. I'm leaning more towards an imobiliser issue.
Car is entered for Speedfest at Alford next Sunday 16th. Also got six weeks to fix before heading off for a touring holiday and trip to Zolder.

Thanks for the responses.
With help from Neil on this cold Aberdeenshire night and information advised above, we first checked the fuel relay and all was well. We then unplugged and replugged the imobilser M36T in the passenger footwell and no change. By passed the imobiliser at the multiplug and we got fuel pump working and car started.
We noticed that we had a flashing neon next to the passenger door button but not above the mirror switch. I know that they both previusly worked in tandem when the car is locked up and imobilised.
Neil then had a go at the actual connections /wires into the M36T imobiliser for which we briefly had both neons operating and for a period where there was no imobiliser and the car would start.
So we reckon it's a faulty M36T imobiliser. Will order a new one tomorrow through HHC and hopefully that will put an end to this issue.
