I live just north of nottingham and the strangest thing just happened.

A big plane just passed relatively slowly overhead but very very low with no lights on whatsoever.

It was jet engine, and it was low enough to see the outline in the pitch black.

Very scary and st me up thinking it was coming down, my partner even came running up stairs scared asking if we should get out of the house.

Anyone know what it could have been and what it was upto? We are not on any flight path and it near midnight, never seen anything like it around here in my life.

I know there is some fairly clues up aviation people on here who know plane tracking sites etc so though it was worth asking.

Yeah, it is laughable isn't it ?

Though I must share my experience. When I was c 10-12 years of age, I saw an old style aircraft (think Lancaster/Wellington style) fly into a hill and disappear. No noise, no nothing. confused Bizarrely, this was in mid Wales.

To this very day, I have absolutely no idea what the hell made me / my brain see what I did.

Very surreal experience.

To add to this, I was climbing a large hill/mountain near Llangollen with a friend while on holiday. Again, we were kids of school age. A distant sound of an aeroplane became louder and louder until it got to a point where I actually thought "this fking thing is coming at us". As we turned around in sync, the noise stopped and there was nothing.

Sends a shiver down me thinking about this.

Both these things happened to me. Real weird st that I've not really thought much about since they happened but this thread made me remember.

Mmmmm scratchchin

A timewarp?
A "reflection" from the past?
A dimension jump?
A memory from a previous life?
Your brain having a momentary snafu?

I quite agree that there are many things yet to be embraced or explained by human science but I think that, normally, the most accurate theory is usually the simplest one.

I love the story from the first 'reader' in that article:

over my head appeared a huge WWII plane, flying really low. It was just like the one in the picture.
Oh yeah, a WW2 plane? Just like the one in the picture? You mean the picture of the Hercules that the RAF regularly fly very low on training exercises just east of where you were? Silly cow.

I may as well add that I also saw an old Rolls Royce (Don't laugh, I think it was a Rolls Royce Phantom) drive silently by while I was waiting to pull out of a junction many years ago. This was at night and the Rolls Royce had no lights on as it trundled by. The most impressionable thing left in it's wake was the incredible aroma of 'old car' that you get when you stick your head inside something like an Austin 7 or suchlike. You know the smell, musty, leatherette type whiff. The smell was incredibly concentrated. In hindsight, I wish I'd turned and followed the way it was going but by the time I realised how weird it was, I was well on my way in the other direction. Proper eerie.

I am fully aware that I am beginning to sound odd. smile

Real life experiences though.

Just out of interest, was it silent? Or do you know it was jet engined because of the sound it made or its shape? How fast would you say it was going?

I saw something very strange last summer, It was about 10 o clock at night and I was having a ciggy in the back garden when, what appeared to look very similar to the eurofighter went over my house at about 1000ft then banked over at about 45 then 90 degrees and dived towards the ground and dissapeared behind the trees about a mile away. Now it was quite a dark sky and this is the strange bit, there was no navigation lights visible at all and the weirdest thing no noise or sound just complete silence and it was going very very fast in fact it was only in view for a short time.

It made me run back in the house and look out of the upstairs rear bedroom window for the fireball and mushroom cloud, in fact I put the news on later because thats how sure I was that I had just witnessed a crash. Also my house is not that far away from bae systems at Warton where they screw the typhoon together. Now before you all say I imagined it, I have spent a bit of time in and around aircraft training for my ppl so while im no expert I can judge distances and attitudes and altitudes of aircraft quite well and can tell the difference between a chinese lantern or a pigeon and that is the weirdest thing Ive ever seen in the sky.

You are making David Icke sound sensible. Makes good reading though.
