te result for the nation, so far, and most people I@ve spoken to aren't happy with their local MPs so far...
But David Davis got in here, again. So I'm happy. Really really top bloke, had several dealings with him.
Are you happy with who you got in your local constituency?

Our lass seems reasonably sensible in her weekly column in the local rag. Decent MP. Publishes her expenses etc. Probably going to get a ministerial job as she had a shadow one. She'll do.

Nope. My MP is a criminal. They have been the subject of two House of Commons enquiries. They mislead both enquiries and were found out. They have also been suspended from the Commons in the past. They also had their nose heavily in the trough in the expenses scandal. How someone as corrupt as this can be re-elected or even let to stand for election beggars belief.

New seat Rugby, the Cons Mark Pawsey got in.
I got thrown out of a dinner party getogether for him hosted by my friend and neighbour. Apparently asking him if he thought Osbourne was going to stop being a weak minded incompetent numpty anytime soon wasnt the right sort of behavior.
Still voted for the cheesy grinning muppet though as he was the best bet.

Exactly what I'd say about ours: Theresa May. Is she the same as yours? She gets around a lot locally and even though is shadow cabinet, still cares, and sorts local issues. For example, we are at our neighbours house discussing the recent spate of vandalism and disturbances on our street. There's a knock on the door and Theresa May comes in to see how she can help. Impressive committment, especially as it was the final day of the Tory party conference, nobody would have begrudged her at least one night in after that with her feet up.
Edit to add - I'd say this committment was reflected in her getting 60% of the vote last Thursday (Labour candidate got 7%).

You're in Basingstoke as well then? Maria Miller seems okay, I remember meeting her before she got the Basingstoke seat, seemed like a decent person.
Yep. We had Andrew Hunter before who was also a decent enough sort of chap. Sir George Young next door is a sound bloke, too. Met him at a friend's bash - he was presenting a business award to him. Spoke very well.
