16M - any owners on here?
Discussion
yes ive got one. had a bunch of scuds before. scud feels more taught from the outset but thats fairly obvious. its a fun car and theres not many/any cars that have the combination of open top & driver focussed in that price range.
i wasnt happy with the gawky looks of the standard car so had it lowered, novitec NF3s, straight pipes.
have been thinking about switching to the GTO but the styling of the 599 just doesnt appeal to me.

Seems I might be able to get one, guy here changing his for a GTO.
I've heard they really are like the Scud coupe only with the obvious advantage of the roof off. Would love to hear your ownership experiences, PM me if you prefer
I'm confused. Isn't a 16M a Ferrari ? But you said that Ferraris were the Devil's cars.I've heard they really are like the Scud coupe only with the obvious advantage of the roof off. Would love to hear your ownership experiences, PM me if you prefer

Thanks. I know what you mean about the looks. Any pics of yours now?i wasnt happy with the gawky looks of the standard car so had it lowered, novitec NF3s, straight pipes.

I've got a white 16M ... all Scuds are stunning, but it sounds amazing with the roof down (and pretty good with it up). Changed 599 for it and enjoy driving it much more. Everyone loves the looks, which are about perfect as you can see, and I think the minimal interior's really special. I'd definitely recommend one! Keep us posted ...

Tried one today in glorious sunshine. Enough to confirm that I want one - its so much better than the 430 spider, taut, direct but not fidgety steering, brilliant gearchange, and raw without being so raw I couldn't drive down to Italy or the south of France in it. I much preferred it to the 458 I drove a while back. And the noise
I tried a new LP560 spyder straight after, which is a totally different kettle of fish and not for me. Much more civilised and refined.
