The PistonHeads tours (run by the good chaps at Petrolhead Nirvana) are proving extremely popular in 2010, and we extend our thanks to all of you who have joined us so far - it's been great to hear your positive feedback too.

The next tour on the calendar is the rather fabulous Viking Tour, which runs from 17th - 27th June. We have already run an article on this tour but we still have three places available, so it's not too late to join us as we drive through Scandinavia.

Getting to Norway has been a challenge since the direct ferries stopped in 2008 so we've used a bit of lateral thinking and our connections to find the best way to get you to the promised land. The ferries take up some of the nights so we get as much chance to drive as possible. We've also kept the daily mileage short so that if you really want to you can do bits of the route over and over again, and there will be times when you will!

Curious. Is the intention to drive 'enthusiastically' or is it more of an elegant paced affair?

Thankfully Scandinavia allows for both - there are some cracking mountain roads which are so much more testing and satisfying than Stelvio, and at the same time over every crest and around every corner there are simply stunning views.

Nope, not yet, should have dates towards the end of October (we have to wait for the Formula 1 calender to be released as so many other motoring events are geared around the F1 calendar).
