Just got home form work, not the usual route as I am working in a different place (Reading this week) was on the slip road from the M4 (eastbound ) to the A329 where the sliproad goes down to one lane, when two cars are side beside me with the 2nd ( a subura estate) had to use an awful lot of the hatched white area to get past.

Anyway, he passes me, and goes flying off in the distance... a mile further down the road, a smell of oil, and there is the car, stopped in the outside lane, with the bonnet over the windscreen, having clearly popped at speed... I do not generally laugh at peoples mis fortunes, and I know that this could have resulted in a nasty accident... but... what goes around comes around as they say.....

I would have laughed.

Like I did just now at the 106 full of chavs that overshot a red light on the A33 by about 2 car lengths with the brakes locked. Glad I was in a different lane though!

I would have slowed right down, beeped the horn and given him a wave on the way past byebye

A number of years ago I was driving home along the A303 towards Wokingham after working in Plymouth - the dual section leading to the M3. I was following a Merc C-Class that seemed to know what he was doing and we were both driving a fair bit too fast. We passed a very chav looking Cavalier that decided he wanted to join in. A couple of mile later he caught us just as we came to a crest in the road. Just before the crest the Merc braked quite hard and as I was behind him I also braked - the Chav-Cav went flying past flat out. Just over the crest was a lay-by with a police car and a policeman with a speed camera!!! He clocked the Cav and jumped in his car to go after him. A few miles down the road we passed them both in another lay-by, the policeman standing by the window of the Cav writing him a ticket.
The Merc driver turned off the M3 at Basingstoke and as I passed him he gave me a wave and laughed - I returned the wave and the laugh biggrin
