It does seem that way. I appear to have given Mr Clegg too much credit, but I guess time will tell for sure.We as a nation are fked, proper fked.
The clear choice for the benefit of the country is for the LibDems to drop the request to change the voting system, forget about the differences in the EU and Trident, and work with the Tories to fix the country.
By making demands on voting reform they are ignoring the greater good for the country.
By working with the Labour party, they are supporting the party which screwed the country, and asking them to carry on screwing the country and grind it in to the dirt.

We desperately need strong leadership. Someone prepared to make the tough decisions that have to be made.Total mess which will smash the st out of the remains of this country
What we will end up with is impotent government and so continues our journey towards bankruptcy.
Assuming that whatever coalition or arrangement is made, a referendum will have to be held regarding electoral reform. Assuming that it is voted for it will take some time to work through. It would then be churlish for any opposition to try and vote out the incumbent government or indeed for the government to introduce any radical legislation before the new voting system is in place.
So what are we looking at? Eighteen months is my guess. Unless the politicians and civil servants rush something through.

I waivered before I made my decision to vote in this Election of the Conservatives. He and labour have already ensured my support for the Conservatives for years to come by their actions following the results on Thursday.
