Mini cooper s works

looking to buy a 2005 works. What kind of mpg are you getting, I am buying from a BMW Mini dealer but is there anything I should look out for.

I've got a 240bhp non works and i've just done a 300 mile roadtrip in it getting 50mpg, but in a standard one or a works i'd expect anything from 20-30mpg.

I usually get 22 mpg whereas the OH gets nearer 40

28-30 mpg is average for the R53.

I have had a look at a couple of jcw one is a 2005 and the other is 2007 and they are both 197bhp, which cars have 210bhp?

They all do, but in reality no JCW has ever actually made over 190bhp

Would you suggest that it is better to get a standard S and then added something like a Lohen package instead of the jcw?

I wouldn't suggest Lohen is a good idea, their superchips maps have made plenty of cars go bang, 1320 Autos are far more respected and careful with their cars

You'd be better off going for a standard s and getting a 15% pulley and colder spark plugs.
