Combined SatNav + speed camera locator + wireless updates
Discussion
Hi all, I'm replacing my Garmin SatNav (fairly old model, maps out of date etc.) and at the same time replacing my Road Angel Compact.
What I'm looking for is a SatNav with combined speed camera locator.
THE KEY THING though is that I want the unit to have a built in SIM card and for it to be able download speed camera locations via GPRS - I specifically do not want to have to plug it into a PC and download camera locations manually.
I appreciate that the subscription costs will be high so let's not worry about that - all I'd like to ask is does anyone know what make/model of SatNav unit can specifically achieve GPRS speed camera location updates, as this (my general laziness and unwillingness to plug things into computers) is key to my whole requirement.
The more I read, the more confused I get. I think the Road Angel Navigator 9000 Connected could do all of this but it looks to have been discontinued?? Does anyone know whether the TomTom Go LIVE units can achieve the GPRS speed camera update trick, or the Garmin Nuvi 1490, or the Snooper S2000N Syrius??
Help!! This is frying my tiny brain
Thank you in advance

Road Angel have stopped producing there own Sat Nav system. I believe they now supply mapping for Tom Tom (I may be wrong?) and as a result have stopped producing their own unit?
This is a shame as I have a 9000 and I have found it to be fantastic. I loads up fast, is very accurate and the camera detector part is spot on. I'm guessing Tom Tom will get Road Angels camera technology so I'm sure thats the direction you'll need to take?

Thanks guys. I spoke on the phone to both TomTom and Garmin today. TomTom held their hands up and said no can do. The chap at Garmin swears blind that the 1690 can do all of this http://www8.garmin.com/uk/1690/nulink/nulink.htm If this is true, it looks like the only one, apart from the navigator 9000 connected but I really don't want to go for something that's being discontinued. Anyone got a 1690 or know anyone who does??? I'd like to confirm 100% that full camera updates are automatic
