Apt username.

I'm not sure, it can't of cost that much, I would probably let it lie. Not your local takeaway I presume?

Takeaway restaurant answers phone, takes your order, processes your payment, cooks food, tries to deliver it to a wrong address, no doubt waking some poor sod up and causing the company embarrassment and your considering a chargeback because you're too pissed to give the correct address? You're having a laugh surely?!
That's exactly my thinking, just looking for some backup here!

I know this might seem a bit obvious but did you phone them to ask them why you didn't get it?

Erm, if you left a contact number they should have called you when they were unable to deliver it. I would chargeback the payment.

So you managed to read and communicate a 16 digit number, expiry date and security number but couldn't give your address??

This was my thinking.

Are you sure it was even a takeaway?

Possibly because, on reflection, it was a somewhat foolish question.

Pretty much!

If you're genuinely interested in what it said, a brief precis: ordered takeaway, too pissed to get address right, they obv didn't deliver... my inclination was to do nothing, but people at work were saying I should do a chargeback, and thus question as in title...

I know someone who did that.

Trouble was, their house was attached to an old, famous and somewhat ornate school...
