My black alloys are showing some swirls and general loss of colour. What's the best off the shelf polish to buff them up? Also any idea what would of caused this issue. It only seems an issue of the two rear wheels. The wheels have been sprayed for about 12 months

I am not sure if polish is the bes solution here. I would look at some Bilt Hamber Auto Balm, use sparingly and then coat with a decent wheel wax, something like Finishkare FK 1000P.

Both of the above can be bought via the web, next day deilvery!

Thanks for that. Picture may also help. You will be able to see the marks on the alloy arm

Seeing the photos if you are serious and happy to spend, then get a machne polish of the spokes. If doing it by hand then possibly add a glaze like Poorboys Black Hole after the polish and before the wax stage. It is always worth sealing your wheels too with something like Chemical Guys Jetseal# 109. Wax after sealing.

deep scratches are hard to remove by hand but can be reduced by using a filler heavy polish. A decent machine polish will remove the sharp edges and help smooth out any scratches on your clearcoat or paint.
