Had a few photos done by a PH'er...

Not so keen myself - that first shot looks like it's been manipulated to death and the rest look fairly pedestrian. Having said that, the more photos the chap takes, the more experience they will gain and they will soon develop their own style.
Nice Sag too - the colour suits it better than some of the bright shades you see around.

The first shot, too me, is lovely.
But my eye is untrained, and as someone has stated they think it's not that good.
So what is wrong with it? Specifically? I only ask as I am actually interested, and one day I hope to have a 'trained' eye as it were.
I'm sure others will be better qualified to comment on the standard of the manipulation that's been done but (leaving aside the cliche of a nice car on a shabby indistrial estate) it just looks like it's been fiddled with too much. The light on, say, the silo-type building looks completely different to the light on the car. The end result is that it looks like the car has been cut out and stuck on an unrelated background. The sky looks completely overdone too (and, again, sky like that wouldn't result in the light that's falling on the car). Essentially it looks like the sort of image you'd see in an advert for a backstreet tuning company in the back of Evo.But my eye is untrained, and as someone has stated they think it's not that good.

I don't want to sound too negative here though - at least the photographer is trying out different techniques, and that's the only way to learn.

For me the compositions are weak. It's such a bold and visually interesting car but the shots are let down by poor framing and the first one is relying on being over-processed to make it look "better", ditto the 4th one really. But my eye is untrained, and as someone has stated they think it's not that good.

There are many better angles to shoot, and more thought for location would help a lot too.
