Late TVR (2006 on) road tax question

Can either a late TVR owner (2006 on) or someone that knows please answer this question for me:

What is the situation with road tax on TVRs registered on or after 23 March 2006? Are they classed as planet enders and therefore stitch up territory or similar money to say my current Chimaera?

In other words how much does road tax cost on an April 2006 on TVR?

I had a 57 plate T350 and road tax was £205/year

Have a look around the forum as this has been brought up before. Without checking myself, here's what I think were the salient points:

1. As TVR was a low volume manufacturer it could avoid having to provide emissions data, enabling even the very last cars produced to be classified as PLG.

2. Some of the late cars were registered as PLG; others were registered according to their CO2 emissions.

3. Some owners had their cars reclassified as PLG without problem whilst others were refused the change: it seemed to depend on which local DVLA office they applied to.

4. Finally, I think someone sought a definitive national answer from the DVLA centrally, but I don't know what the outcome was.

I have a 08 Sagaris, was a speed six and now a 7 litre V8. It is classified as PLG! £205 a year

Some cars (incl one griff IIRC) were registered as PCs PETROL CAR which means a Co2 emmission rating is stated on the V5C hence you get charged at that rate...They all should be PLGs...I fought the test case and eventually won. Getting the V5C corrected is the issue.

July 2006 Tuscan S classed as PLG think the tax was £190 last year

Whatever the car was first registered as is what the licensing authorities have to honour.

I really think it is what the car is regitered as...... most are on the cheaper scale, however there are the odd few misregistered ... so be warry as they are getting to point of not wanting to reclassify
