I might just be able to help you out, as I aquired a damaged 4.2 a few month back with a set of perfect cams, dont know if your interested in a second hand set.

Are they the original Clatter Cams or the upgraded replacements that the factory currently churn out ?

I dont know to be honest, just bought the engine off ebay for spares, all I know from the seller is the engine has covered 1800 miles. I bought it when it was`advertised as I was having the same problem as you with getting replacement cams, however my new set arrived so I have a spare set now.

I thought that when this topic came up before,and i was saying about no delivery on cams,that Shane said for people to contact him 'cose could sort out something quicker .. is that actually not the case and he's stuck for supply like everyone else?

He did have a number of them but has since sold them and also sold some back to the factory.

It wouldn't happen to have a dipstick still in it, would it?

Its not that good out in Baku right now as the girls are at least 2 months from wearing the skimpy miniskirts, roll on summer.
