Reptile (Iguana) Tanks (Aquariums/Vivariums)?
Discussion
I've always made my own vivariums for larger reptiles, as it's much cheaper than buying them (if you can find anywhere that sells them in the first place). It's no harder than making a (large) cupboard.
For an Iguana I'd recommend using wire mesh for the doors rather than glass, as they're quite hefty lizards and I imagine they could probably break the glass pretty easily if they jumped at it (which they probably will).
Incidentally, a fully grown Iguana will be at least 5 feet long, so your friend is eventually going to need a far larger vivarium than you've specified.
