Now the hubbub is dying down, of the many commentators in the media, who impressed most?

My vote goes to John Pienaar on Radio 5 - always level, good insight, no waffle or hyperbole, and presented, in my opinion, a good balanced view on the proceedings.

I don't know or care who was best, but I find myself attracted to Laura Kuenssberg.

Impressed by Adam Boulton and Sky News generally throughout the past week. True, he lost his rag with Alastair Campbell, but who wouldn't punch that tt if they had the chance (along with Mandy, Brown (obviously) and Balls).

I thought ITV did the best job of election night.

I will add her onto my hotlist with Jo Coburn and Kay Burley.

I only really watched Sky news, so I don't have anyone I could fairly draw comparison with.

Boulton lost a lot of credibility with me after his silly little tantrum with Alisdair Campbell, he just looked like a fat blubbering child throwing a hissy fit over nothing, embarassing really - even if it was that twunt Campbell.

Kay Burley I really do dislike, stupid questions, crap analysis and always trying far too hard. I know they're almost duty bound to put people on the spot and they relish a slip-up on live camera, but she was trying desperately hard with the wrong people too often trying to make something of nothing, which just smacks of desperate tabloid-esque journalism. If I hear 'squeaky bum time' once more I'll hunt her down and nail her mouth shut.

Overall I thought Sky did a reasonably good job of it though, Boulton wasn't too bad for the large part, and given how much time they spent there some of the negatives are perfectly acceptable.
