Carerra Banshi is well equipt for the price range. Personally for such a limited budget I'd go for the second hand market maybe Ebay? I'd put future posts on the pedal powered forum if you don't want a ribbing.

ah balls - i deleted my original post hoping it would remove the topic (as i've moved it to pedal powered) but it didn't work..
