Cameron's first tasks as PM...

1. Cut SCotland loose. Let them raise their own revenues to spend on free prescriptions, cheap tertiary study or whatever. They have their own parliament and plenty of Scottish politicians to go around. Let this once proud nation go forth and multiply.
2. Withold payments to the EU untiltheir books are in order.

Why? " Let them raise their own revenues" ??
Of course, SORRY, I forgot that fuel, vat and income tax does not exist north of your imaginary border,
ps you might want to edit your profile to reflect your bigoted outlook.

They have their own parliament, and should be entitled to control the collection of VAT, income taxes, CGT etc from those living and working in Scotland. Where did I suggest they don't pay taxes?
I am suggesting a Scottish parliament independently administer, collect and spend it how their constituents would like.
I am surprised the Scots want to be economically dependent on the English. They have always struck me as fiercely proud and independent.
1. Fumigate No 10 to get rid of the stench of that socialist Scott.
2. Get some cleans heets
3. Have a threesome with Sam and Miriam

excellent so we vote for a party on the basis of their manifesto and they just change it just like that. dmocracy its fab
Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy doesn't it?That said it will be very interesting to see what happens over the next few years as there really is the potential for a shift in British politics and possibly what is considered the domain of each part of the UK.
I studied politics and have always had an interest in it and I am starting to feel that once again history could repeat itself. We have had electoral reform before and will have it again, it is like the English language, over the passage of time it retains it's essence but it must evolve.
IMO there is no such thing as the perfect political system as the only ones which are are only so on paper! There will always be compromises, the best you can achieve is to ensure that these are relevant.
