time to sell - but not until....

Hi guys,

after 6 or so years of happy ownership i need to sell up, baby forcing sale!!

...but, even though its now advertised on here, still want to do a few last little bits.

the most important one i think, is try to sort out the handling a bit - ever since i fitted avo's a few years ago the car has been really tram-liney & almost a bit too direct?

think i need to do a 4 wheel alaignment & camber check, is there anyone close by who has done similar & can recommend somewhere?

plus any data on camber degree settings, i know there may be a difference in opinion between us, but any help appreciated.

I spoke to somebody at S club last year who were using thier S for hill climbing, & they told me who set thier car up but i cant remember who it was, someone in nottinghan i think?

Theres some details in Pies site from Haynes but I believe it has a typo for the camber setting...

Marks covers it in his front suspension overhaul article here

and I'm pretty sure it was covered recently in Sprint - unsure if the geometry figures were quoted ?

Did anyone go to Ashby Folville last night?

was all set, washed car at lunch, then it rained dirty ashy muddy water all over it, then got tied up at work, then it was too late!!!

Heard it was a pretty good turn out?

I think the S parts list linked from tvrsseries.com has the set up info at the end - I assume that is correct. When I got the S it was a bit tramliney but after setting the tracking it was OK but then no doubt other errors could be a problem too.
