.....MX5 rofl

Did a trade with a fella on a 1990 Eunos Roadster 1.6i, it's a little tatty in places, leaks a bit of oil (being looked at on thursday hopefully) and is a cat C, but put right in 2005 and I tell ya what?

Now I understand why PH recommends the MX5 so bloody highly...

What a little powder keg of laughs this thing is!!!

I can't believe how pokey the 115 1.6 engine is and how it sounds...lovely little soundtrack.

Gearbox is tight and snatchy, which is what I like. The balance is immense, the traction impressive, the overall handling is crisp and accurate to a point where it's almost shocking.

It's not just me that's impressed though, I've taken a few friends out...you know the type, the ones that crack the hairdresser jokes and such, and they've been blown away especially when I'm on a hot one (not a curler btw wink)

I love it!

Don't know whether to sell and make a few bob or put some things right and keep it for a bit

Well, I almost bought an MX-5 last week, but after a test drive I decided I just don't fit!
Even with the seat as low as possible I still didn't feel comfortable in it being 6ft tall.
Are you all below 6ft??

But anyway, I just got myself this little beauty :

Roll on summer!!

I've often investigated the possibility of a supercharger upgrade for mine, but I can't bring myself to do it. The lack of power makes you really have to drive well if you want to keep the speed up whilst hooning along some favourite backroads. Mind you, it's no slouch either - just lacks that mid range ooof that previous cars have had.
