Amazon Postage
Discussion
Just ordered 4 DVD's from Amazon.
All standard DVD's, and vary in price between £5 & £14. not in any rush to get them, so chose the option, free Super saver delivery, and to group together to save (their) postage costs.
Had 4 emails today within 10 mins, saying that all of these have been dispatched separately.
So not a moan, but why would they bother giving the option of sending together if they then send them all separately, from the same depot at the same time. Isn't this additional cost they could save?

Play.com do the same....but free P&P
Good chance Amazon are dispatching using Play.com. I've bought a few items from Amazon and when they arrive it's been quite clear they originate from Play. Annoying really because Play are often cheaper, I'm just too lazy to check beforehand.Nickyboy said:
They may be the same thing but Amazon increasingly use 3rd party suppliers who send direct to the customer
Exactly why i've given up using Amazon. They used to be a really good seller, now it's 90% reselling, and you've no idea where it's coming from.DVDs for me always come from Play.com

It tells you on the page whether it's coming from Amazon themselves or a reseller.Amazon have always been superb for me, one of the few online retailers that I have faith in.
