I think the giveaway is when the driver says at the end of the video (admittedly in Kiwi which is pretty unintelligible at times...) "The had his arse out!" And then says it again for good measure.

Hahaha, and seems it was some joke played on him by a mate of them, but they wrote off a borrowed car!! D'oh!
