.. But am not sure who to write to.

I am looking for the company/Chief Constable of Thames Valley Police because last night on my way from Windsor to Staines their was an alleged Safety van parked in the middle of the road near Runneymead and the airforce memorial with a couple of cones around it. It was in a section where people would normally urn left or right, but I want to write to someone and make a complaint, but am not sure who. I've read through SP&L and know the arguments, but want to highlight the lack of safety shown.

Any ideas?

Try the webmaster@thamesvalley.police.uk - he's very helpful (normally forwards emails to their intended recipient).

Also Jim Booth (Executive Director) at TV Police Authority via tvpa@thamesvalley.pnn.police.uk.

Sadly I have yet to find anyone that TVSRP is accountable to - except maybe DfT who aren't interested...

Don't forget, the TVSRP isn't solely run by the Police. It appears that the local councils have the biggest say (Reading certainly allow abysmal + dangerous parking by the vans in their borough).

Finally - your MP must be contacted

The person responsible for deploying the vans (and who I will be speaking with) is

Ken Antell of TVSRP on 01908686309

If I get a good response, I'll post it

Also write to Micheal Trend via faxyourmp.com

He seems sympathetic to transport issues in his borough...
