Gently nursing my 90 around the Stoke Goldington off road course because the passenger side CV's clicking away, when the timing belt snaps at 1 mph!! What an arse!!! Hopefully new pushrods and belt should fix it smile

I had three go on my 200Tdi disco, never needed more than pushrods to sort. The reason I kept breaking them was the timing cover had warped so no matter how I buggered about water got in when wading.

If your asking where the cambelt is - it's buried stupidly deep behind the plate the waterpump fits into.

Oops! I meant 'shame' about cambelt! I was interested in where the off road course was that was mentioned. smile

Sorry to confuse - it's not a proper off-road course, just one we had made up at the Stoke Goldington Steam Rally so we could give off-road rides to the punters in aid of the Air Ambulance. It was only a few holes dug next to the ploughing field but somehow managed to bugger up nearly all the cars in our club!!!
Happy to report that timing belt is now fixed and appears to only have damaged the push rods. Happy days smile
