To celebrate the arrival of Steam on the Mac, Valve are giving away their highly acclaimed game Portal for free until May 24th.

It's well worth the download. Is anyone playing this yet?

Never played Portal, will try this at the weekend. What I want to know is, when will CS:S be available? Have they done the Source engine port yet?

Portal is a fantastic game, a real surprise. I got it free with the Orange Box (back when it was the only way to buy TF2) and fired it up out of curiousity...spent the next two days playing it with my OH taking turns.

Great game if a little short (played it to completion yesterday afternoon from scratch) . Have to play it again but try for the achievements..
