Saw that the other day, it seemed to coincide with me getting something in my eye.

And, as we all know, there's nothing worse than seeing a fat man weep.

It was quite moving. Too moving for what is a lager advert, really. And not even English. I think of Carlsberg as being Danish?

That is a splendid advert! Certainly pulls on the heart strings as it all goes quiet with the image of Sir Bobby Robson!

Yep, that bit was nice.

Its a very good advert.. Should just play it to them at halftime and let Capello take a seat.

I think it must be volcano ash - got some in my eyes too right around the time I saw this superb ad wink

True sporting legends and Tom from the mighty Kasabian makes you realise not everything about Britain is crap (even if it is advertising a Danish lager!).

Great advert. thumbup

But, can I just clear something up...is that, or is that not, Mr Jeff Stelling (the legendary anchor of Soccer Saturday) who emerges with a cross painted on his chest at 1:12 in that video? I'm fairly certain it is, and I swear Ranulph Fiennes is in there too.

Yep, it's defo Ranulph Fiennes but don't think it's Jeff Stelling (although I can see a slight likeness).

I think it is Jeff, if it's not then they could be twins. It is a cracking advert, guaranteed to be shown at half time in every England match in the world cup.

Ranulph Feinnes is definitely it - he smashes the cross/spear/pointy metal thing into the concrete. Cracking ad though.

Millwall and Exeter City in the players' tunnel near the start of the advert too.
