Just has some work done on my S3 thought I would post share my experience.
I love modding cars and am currently preparing my S3 for a Cosworth 24V conversion.
I purchased a 7.5" Granada Cosworth from eBay (User: http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/natsha1510/ I highly recommend this guy he is very helpful and knows loads about the 24V engine etc..
I had my local garage (Harrogate Auto Electrics) clean it up and swap it in for me.. I know I should do this myself but I am just so super busy at the moment. Anyhow thankfully the unit was in good shape and now has new oil in it (its always a risk with 2nd parts).
I picked her up today and wow what a difference, I must admit to being sceptical after reading reports on PH but I think it has transformed the car in acceleration scenario's.
The areas of greatest improvement are on roundabout exit, junction exit etc but there is also an added stability in sweeping bends.. on my usual hoon route the edge towards oversteer on the sweeping bends is noticeably improved..
So in summary I am v v happy and recommend this mod to all open diff users..

I am still at the gathering parts stage.. I have 3/4 of the Loom ECU BOA engine + spare set of BOA rocker covers and plenum for making pretty.
Light weight flywheel, alternator. So need to finish the loom and sort a gearbox.
Meanwhile I am doing the stainless hard pipes and swirl pot this week and perhaps some seats too (for SCH) then rear brakes and cage then engine prob early next year.
lol.. its a work in progress but I do have a firm idea of where I want to end up..

lsd for s2? hi, i have nearly finished repairing a trashed s2 2.9i for the road, still scruffy but cosmetics are not a priority for me, today am fitting good 2nd hand fiesta servo and new master cylinder so i will have some brakes, and only some small jobs to do after that to be on the road. but i would love an lsd (knowing the difference that makes to a bmw e30!) does the granado/cosworth lsd fit an s2? if so is it a straight swap and if not what else needs swapping? assume i don't have to fit the 24v motor to be able to fit an lsd ;-) the car is pretty quick now with low mileage 2.9i 12v motor and 5 speed box but really needs more grip more than it needs more power! so i'd like the most straight forward lsd conversion (and cheap too so 2nd hand granada part would be preferable to posh aftermarket quaif etc) ad low pro tyres on standard oz rims, all advice much appreciated.
