94 petrol mondeo,horrendous oil leak!

mate just bought a 94 petrol mondeo and it has a really bad oil leak.when the engine is warm the oil virtually constantly flows down onto his oil filter,would the oil pump leak this much?thanks!

Where is the oil leaking from?

I think that was my question lol!It's dripping down directly onto the oil filter,can't see directly where it's all pouring down from?

Very common as being the oil pressure switch failing and peeing oil everywhere
