Hi Paul,
Folks....we are all aware of Pauls recent fire, and what ****** bad luck it was!
If you have anything free of any use, list it here for Paul..
Let's try & help him get his Wedge
back!
Thanks to all....
Paul, hope you don't mind??
Not slept due to recent
events...but the brain being a
dangerous beast it has kept on thinking stuff!!
I thought this would help?

This is a very generous offer from you, and of course all goodies would be gladly accepted as still not sure what insurance company is deciding to pay out. (another story!once the dust settles!)
As for the wheel ould be very grateful for that, but if you want to change over so you have the one you want and I'll have what ever is left

Might be good to leave a price as well as would want to pay for item if insurance materilizes or later if not once saved some towards the wedge fund!
Also let us know if you have bits available that you would want to sell rather than donate, as at least it will give me an idea of what to aim for

Also raided my spares shed and have found
Starter motor
Steering pump
Kenwood cd radio !
Hotwire injectors and fuel rail
So far removed / binned / need
brake servo / master cylinder
clutch master cylinder
brake balancer
washer bottle / motor
radiator header tank
air filter
fuel pressure regulator
jag airflow meter - hopefully not needing this
injector pack - hopefully not needing this
all water hoses
all air hoses
Keep Wedging whilst you can
and as a lot of us know here once a Wedger always a wedger

Hi Alan
Still got the loom for the MS that just needs a few more tweaks / bits, so the injection / system not needed.
Hence already binned the injector pack / afm
Just need a hot wire manifold to fit my hot wire rail/injectors on, and then all the sensors again like tps, temp, air, crank
Cheers Paul

No Problem at all Paul, however you want to do it.
I think it's fantastic that you are prepared to get the old girl back on the road, and as you say, once a Wedger always a Wedger.. so i know there are plenty on here willing to helP out mate!
Just a rubbish time of the year to lose your Wedge!
If anyone has a spare, i don't know... 'funny bolt' specific to the Wedge...it all helps.

Well done a lot today
Completely stripped the interior back to fibreglass
Think the only bit that may still work is the wiper motor strangly enough
Some of the dials don't look too bad so may try and test them out and see what works
Binned just about everything else including seats, column switches , heater unit, carpets, all trim (kept all the fibreglass backings to make up new ones)
Then carried on with the front, and stripped all lights, pods ,rad (may be salvagable bit top thin hose broken off) drivers door mirror, battery, alternator, rad fan all binned. Horns may be ok
Then the fun bit came, I chopped out the driverside arch inner and outer back to sound fibreglass, and front cross member, so all a bit wobbily at front corner
Strange things I found were wood in between the inner and outer arches, and it looks someone has already cut behind front wheel on inner arch as very straight line there (unless that's how it's supposed to be ?
Tomorrow is removing injection system and scraping of old paint !
