Chris Evans treats himself, some reward for talking ccensoredp on the radio!
Still a beautiful car and a sound investment.

I don't know how hard they looked to find that picture. That's a series II which doesn't tally with 1963 (happy to be corrected?).

Anyway, wonder if it's off to the spray booth for a little whitening?

He has brought a 1964 Series II car (featured in C & SC a few months ago) on private treaty from RM and it is the one in the picture - I think the Sun were just quoting the original price of the Series I in 1963.

A stunning car all the same smile

How many Nissan GTR's would that buy? and they'd be faster wink

On a more serious note, if I was in the rather fortunate position to be on the hunt for a 250 GTO, it would have to be the series 1 for me. Not a bad second best though!

The man does have taste and money, but i would agree that it is a sound investment.

As someone said, for that money it would be a series 1 for me, absolutely stunning car.

I read that comment and thought you meant the new Ferrari California, the yellow one on the link hehe

I then realised there was a picture of his classic one on the link too!
