I managed to get around to using the Renovo roof tarting up products and they are pretty good. It was really easy as well cos I am not great at this kind of thing. If your roof is in generally good condition but a bit faded it will bring it back up like new. If (like mine) it's a bit past it's best it rolls the clock back a few years. Well worth the money.

You need a 2" paintbrush and your wifes best mixing bowl.

Sounds great stuff. My roof is looking a little sad as well and could do with a bit of loving care. Can it be used for the hard part of the roof on a Chimaera, as well as the soft top bit?

It works on the whole (mohair) area. Make sure you waterproof it after it has been re-coloured.

I did the whole roof (and reproofed it afterwards). It only takes a day (including drying time for various coats).

...and where can one buy this magic product? I feel a spot of roof repair coming on...

Thanks

Look under the 'Links' section - there is a website address for renovo-international.

Or go to a Saab dealer - apparently they stock it.

I have just used the blue kit on my Griff. Personally I wouldn't bother with the hood fabric dry cleaner - just go for the re-colour stuff and the waterproofer. Clean the hood first with a brush and soapy water.
