Import Help

Hi, just after some advice, I've got a BMW 318i Vert for sale, and someone offered a P/X for a Subaru Impreza WRX. The car has no history but the seller seems genuine enough. I was wondering how I would find out who imported the car so I can check the mileage when it was imported. Also what are the common problems to look out for on these cars and turbo cars in general as I don't have enough experience to know.

I'm not aware of any way to find out who imported a car. Could be a private individual or one of the middlemen who sometimes act on behalf of private buyers, or a dealer.

You could contact the previous owner and see if they can shed any light on the matter I guess.

If you're unsure, find another car - there will be other imports around that have more in the way of history.
