Ferrari 612 crashed

In New Malden ...

I wonder which MOT place it was at? I was about to take my car for an MOT last week to one just round the corner.
The owner must be fuming!
I always get worried when they have to take it out for a brake test as it won't fit on the rollers. All these MOT testers are so young with heavy right feet.

You're right. They look quite different. The first one is in a round about the second one has a housing estate where the round about or the ramp to the A3 should be. Confused.
it's not a roundabout, just the corner of a road.the picture is just rotated round. the first one shows the A3 flyover coming down, and the A3 slip joining at the second New Malden roundabout (if you are heading out of London). the second picture shows the A3 slip going up onto the A3.
essentially the guy has accelerated from the roundabout at Shannon Corner (about 100 yards earlier) and lost control and t
tted it on the corner of Consfield Avenue (I think - or its one of those lefts).http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?client=safari&q=...

PH Name and Shame means I can't say which of the MOT centre's crashed the Ferrari. But I can say which didn't.
It wasn't Bosch Shannon Corner who crashed it. If you know the area, you should have a good idea who did crash it now.
As the (innocent) MOT guy said "we have no idea why anyone needs to test drive a car that's in for an MOT".
(Shannon Corner have MOT'd my cars for the last few years, so I made a point of asking them on Friday when I popped in).

It scares the s**t out of me this story. Just another example of a garage allowing an employee to have a razz in a supercar, problem is you always think your garage can be trusted until this sort of thing happens.
On a similar note, there was a supercar meet at a 'supercar specialist' I attended a few weeks back where they started a tuned Murci and stamped on the loud pedal over and over again to 'wow' the assembled crowd... All it did was convince me the garage can't be trusted and one person's pride and joy (plus the gallardo that was started from cold and revved to the redline as well) has been mistreated which may or may not cause problems.
Makes the case for having a trusted garage you know...
