E46 Coupe.. Suspension options?

Good afternoon all,

I've had an E46 325Ci sport for a couple of years now and pretty much left everything alone apart for a few maintenance replacements and an alloy wheel refurb.

Was possibly thinking about adding/installing a new set of springs/shocks to improve handling but more so for appearance, as the gap between front arch and wheel has recently been striking me as a little too high (possibly emphasized by having 17" wheels also).

Anyway, the Bilstein B12 kit looks particularly appealing and I wondered if any of you guys have used or had experience with said item??

Not the B12, but Bilstein in general have served me well. Never heard anything negative about them either, which perhaps speaks louder still.
