...or will those Southern-European biased lick-spittles at FIFA hand it Spain/Portugal?

Alternately will Abramovitch's cash steal it away for Russia.

Its all down to the committee of course but Blatter will have a big influence.

Blatter has said that he doesn't want joint hosts... but they'll still porbably get it ahead of us!

Well it was exciting...while it lasted...

That must be a record for the shortest time between handing over the official bid and being counted out of the running.

i think it was a non-story that the mail really shot everyone in the foot with

its backfired on them badly as loads of people have come around and asked why it led the story

it wasnt in the public interest nor was it evidence that something was indeed going on.

The Mail seemed to want to do as much damage as possible to the bid by doing this. Is Treisman not allowed to have private opinions?
