Are there any professional or even amateur graphic designers that can knock up a couple of switch surrounds for me - happy to pay for the time if required.

I use the spare switch for the tyre monitoring display and therefore want to get a matching surround to the fog light. To ensure they match I need a design of each that I can just email to a graphics shop for professional printing (unless someone can print them too smile).

Therefore it would be great if someone could design:

One surround which has printed "REAR FOG LIGHT" wrapped and centred at the top with "ON" at the bottom.

And another to say "TYRE MONITORING SYSTEM" and again "ON" at the bottom.

The inner diameter of the switch is 18mm with an outer diameter of 22mm and the outer diameter of the sticker is around 30mm. So a sticker with an inner diameter of 20mm and an outer diameter of 30mm but with the text in the outer 4mm would be perfect.

Sounds like some others may like a BOOST CONTROL or similar and therefore happy to organise some other to be printed if there is a requirement. I am happy with blue but again they could be matched to the car colour or the starter switch surround.

A picture to give you an idea of what I am waffling about.

Good idea David, I could do with a boost Hi/Lo and a Gearbox cooler surround

It has been discussed before ... I know, but the search is not working again.

What does the second unlabeled switch do? Am I right in assuming it was designed to control the boost, but then was never wired up? So in fact does nothing??

I have a 3R.

Thanks

Thanks Martin - appreciate the offer thumbup

Get your requests in this weekend and I will compile a list next week. I suspect they will all fit on one A4 sheet.

If you're going to those lengths David, why don't you redesign the fog surround and peel off the old one?

Have both exactly how you want them instead.

Might be worth speaking to Chalky at Libra Signs, 01277 841944. He's a petrolhead and he did graphics for a group of us going to Le Mans this year. Mention my name, Mike Lawrence, he might be able to help or point you in the right direction.

Hey I will be the first to apologise but I emailed you on 23 June and again on 10 July asking if my request had died and again no response. Do you think I would have posted looking for someone else if I had?

I ignored no emails - pretty difficult if you never receive them.

Now if you want to be civil and try sending again (maybe with a read receipt) then maybe we can get back on course?

as stated above , i have no interest in dealing with you.

you used the line i didnt get your mail before if you recall?

i for sure, would not spend time making these up, using material and my time, and not bother to email now would i?

and with regards to being civil, maybe you may wish to read your comments on my business (which are against site rules anyway) and reconsider who was uncivil. I have dealt with many people on here, none of whom have ever been less than totally satisfied with our products and service.

i suggest you try elsewhere for them

Thanks - I will look elsewhere and hopefully find someone that is more reliable and IT savvy as you have clearly have spent time but not managed to get anything to me. Your response has also supported my point about the factual statement I made. Thanks for the photo - I will send it as an example wink

Perhaps we bring this thread to a close, as it breaks PH posting rules.

But on one sidenote .....
