Range Rover Sport - £46k?!

Just looking on the Land Rover website at Defenders and noticed that the Range Rover Sport "starts" at £46k with the "proper" Range Rover starts at £66k.

Not sure why but I had it in my head that a Sport was around £35k with the full fat version being £50k or so.

That seems seriously expensive for the Sport and also makes me a little surprised that so many people seem to be driving them.

So all in all it looks about right.

The German cars are for poor people. The Range Rover is for rich people who live in the Cotswolds.
