Anyone fitted them to a mk v golf?

Right, it's the 754 feet, aero bars and the fitting kit for the mk5 golf (5dr).

Following the instructions to the letter but how in the hell are you supposed to be able to hook both of the fitting feet thing on at the same time?

Double checked I've got all the right parts.

Will have another go this morning, the metal plates that hook round above the doors don't seem to have enough adjustability to be able to attach them both, even if I move the feet to the very far ends of the bars.
