e46 320 coupe, even more problems.....can anyone help?

Had the car just over a year now and since Ive had it its been nothing but trouble. To cut a long story short the latest problems are:

1.The reverse sensors work when they want, other times it just beeps for about 5 seconds to let me know theyre faulty!

2.The car has cut out when I'm at traffic lights and go to pull away 3/4 times!

3. In 2 weeks its gone through 3 litres of oil, I only drove about 400 mile in that 2 weeks if that! there is no leak, and smoke smoke coming from exhaust. I went to garage today its booked for next week, but he said that one other 3 series had the same problem and they changed the breather filter for the oil and its been fine since.

Its an auto with 80,000 miles

1...sounds like either a dirty sensor or one breaking down and will soon become duff
2... Sounds like a faulty inlet camshaft sensor
3... Sounds like a breather problem though could be related to number 2
