Is Massa's time up?

People are talking about Massa not being at Ferrari in 2011, couldn't find a thread here so thught I'd start one. If he goes, where will he go to, and who will replace him? crash.net (take it with a tonne of salt) have suggested Webber, but the general consensus is Kubica is on his way to Maranello (could make a song out of that). I can't see Massa sticking around in F1 if that happens, maybe he'd go to Indycar or NASCAR? If he did stay in F1, would he go back to Sauber? Maybe join Barry at Williams if Hulkenberg doesn't impress enough? Over to you guys
I think Massa has been overshadowed by having a team mate who is the most complete current F1 driver.
In the same way as Berger was at McLaren driving alonside Senna.
And Mansell suffering similarly up against Prost.
And Schumacher's numerous team mates over the years when at his peak - Brundle, Patrese, Herbert, Irvine, etc.

I don't think Kimi will come back, he always hated the corporate side of it and hes not exactly a slave to the gym. I think rallying is more suited. Hes been photographed at Monaco smoking - I agree not the end of the world but it doesn't send out the right signal.
There were a few rumours about Massa talking to RBR and Webber talking to Ferrari
But I can't take that seriously.
Ferrari have a fairly interesting history of picking second drivers (Irvine, Barichello etc) so maybe they'll go for Sutil? Trulli ?

or perhaps given the standing massa has with the team they're giving him a year with alonso to see how he copes,doesn't look good for him in that case.I'm not sure though.

Tell me who you'd think would be able to extract more race-long performance from the Ferrari, then?
Not just speed, but other elemants including tyre preservation, mechanical sympathy, etc.

I reckon Alonso's better than Jenson at overtaking and defending position on track.
I think its pretty much beyond doubt that Fred would be faster in a car without an optimum setup compared to Button.
As a huge Massa fan I'm going to reserve judgment on this until after the race tomorrow.
Although I think we all agree todays 4th place quali would have been a 5th if Fred was still in the running.
Massa still seems like a wildcard underdog. I'm not a betting man, even if I was I still dont think I'd bet anything of consiquence on the lad, and thats how I still view him... a lad. A few seasons back when he was racing Lewis for the title I think there was a good match between them, however Lewis seems to have leapfrogged him by miles in terms of maturity / controlled aggression. And lets not forget Massa has got a fair few seasons under his belt now by comparison (first F1 season 2002(wiki)...although I was thinking it was actually 2001).
Also, I know the TV footage may well be making more of a meal of this, they kept showing clips of him looking very down-beat... whilst constantly cutting to shots of Fred. looking evermore like 'dick dastardly'!

Massa seems like a really lovely bloke. Sadly, that is not the kind of personality that tends to make a WDC.

Don't get me wrong, Massa wants to win, BUT he is in essence used to being the second best in a team. Plus, I think the pit lane likes Massa because he is often really happy meeting and greeting the other drivers, and they seem to like him and wish him well too.
