Just Swapped My Jag S Type R for a Range Rover
Discussion
Yes indeed an odd choice, we are having our first kid later in the year, and looking to trim costs wherever possible. The Jag was fantastic on the rare occasions you used the performane, but you couldn't get more than 260 miles from £80 of fuel, option was to sell the jag and get a sh!tebox and put a few k in the bank but the opportunity came up for this and i thought why not! If it turns out to be a mistake then i'll just sell for no loss so here i am! It's an 02 HSE with rear monitors & dvd player but i must say that the standard ice is totally sh!t! Will look into ungrading next week, look forward to asking many a cack questio over the following months......

Have an S Type R myself and thinking about changing it for a RR ... let me know how you get on in a few weeks re: mpg, running costs & reliability as I'll be looking for a similar age/model I think.
Good luck
Hi Paul ...still enjoying the Fez ....Have an S Type R myself and thinking about changing it for a RR ... let me know how you get on in a few weeks re: mpg, running costs & reliability as I'll be looking for a similar age/model I think.

The missus has just chopped her Cayenne in for a 2010 RR Vogue TDV8 and I must say that it is absolutely sublime, supremely comfortable and ideal for the family.....the V8 diesel engine is just what it needed, very torquey and totally negating the bulk of the beast...all other diesel incarnations are a bit tardy .....if u can stretch to an early TDV8 you will not be disapointed.
