Anyone local happen to have an obd2 code reader that works with modern Mercs?

Took a c-class in for a service and it's chucked a wobbly, can't get the exact code off it and can't get it to start to take it to Mercedes either.

That or anyone know a mobile Merc specialist in the area?

Cheers,

The only person I would recommend and let near my mercs is alan at Carluke MOT station, they are a Mercedes specialist, guy is an absolute genius solving quite a few issues I had with previous clk and ml that no other garage could sort, never wripped me off, thourghly recommended.

I have the Autoenginuity scan tool. It'll work. I'm in Lanarkshire.

Just to follow this up, took the car to Alan at Carluke MOT station, had the problem diagnosed in half an hour.

Faulty injector on the common rail was letting too much diesel back to the tank and wouldn't hold enough for it to start. Refurbed injector from Bosch and it's running A1.

Can't recommend the guy highly enough for modern Mercedes.
