Is it best to use cash or card for the trip?. Somewhere I heard some garages its only card?.

Is this right or have I got it wrong?.

The myths seem to remain! Virtually all supermarkets now accept any card out of hours. Certainly at Le Mans, be it Carrefour, Leclerc, Super U or Auchan it's the case. However, during opening hours, which are 9-12.30 and 1400-2000 they accept cash. Moreover, at many supermarkets nowadays it recognises your card as english and the wording comes up in english!
