Well she is in her late 80,s but I have obviously misjudged what a petrolhead she is.
She popped in to see me today, just as I started the Cerbera for a run out.
I was expecting her to say - " oooh thats noisy"
I was amazed when she said - "sounds like the tappets need adjusting"

my mum was 84 nearly completely blind and quite deaf, she liked nothing more than a very fast blast in the 4.5 de-catted cerbera down the bypass windows open wind in her hair, her father was a macanice at Brooklands, she was still a petrol head to the day she died. If your mums getting on, get her in the car before its to late. Do you think they have tunnels in hevan....

My Mum is the same and is my favourite person to take out for a blast!

My favourite quote during a particularly fun drive was my Mum saying: "If we die now it doesn't matter because it's so much fun!"

I parked a bright yellow 25th anniversary Lamborghini Countach outside my mums house! As I went back to it, a neighbour who must have been in her mid eighties was standing by it. Somewhat embarrassed I asked if everything was ok to which she replied, 'Have the aliens landed?'

Always makes me smile, and summed that car up perfectly!

One of my parents friends wanted to go out in the cerb a few years ago. Duly took her for a spin, when we got back I found out that her hearing aid had tripped out due to the noise
