This is my second build after my Yamaha OW01 from a few weeks back!

I decided on the 2005 Valencia coloured bike of Colin Edwards, rather than Rossi's bike, just to be different & i'm not really a Rossi fan!

Engine, frame assembled & painted,

Engine in frame, rear cowling on,

Exhaust, radiator & rear wheel on,

Tank & a few decals on,

front wheel, forks & brakes

Thats the progress so far!

Fairing to spray next, so will post some more pics when finished!

Thanks for looking. biggrin

Great to see you continuing with modelling.

I must say though that your photographs don't do justice to your model - I can see it's a good one, but....get a better camera, then we can see the work you've obviously put into the finer details.

Cheers,

Finished at last! Fairly happy with the end result, sorry if the pics are still a bit crap! biggrin

Great job - Can't fault it.

One question: are the rear discs on these bikes cross-drilled or dimpled? From the photos it looks like your model has dimples rather than through holes. If this is right - no problem, but if they are drilled you could either drill them out yourself, or add a dark wash to the existing depressions to give them some depth. Or...of course it may just be the photo that's not quite in focus!

Thanks! The rear disc is dimpled rather than actually drilled through. May try that on another model. Thanks for the advice!
Got my next builds lined up, courtesy of e-bay, classic RD350LC & RD250LC! will build these together as almost identical! biggrin
