S3 is nice too. I would have thought the MPS would have been quicker.

Yeah that's the Japanese version, need to import it here if you want one, much better than the Uk spec one we get here. I believe that the UK spec one is available over in Japan now tho.

Heres a quick vid i remembered !

Scirocco is far and away the best looking of the bunch and since it drives like a Golf GTI should be great fun too, love the engine in that thing.

Having a cooper s (r53) and having driven a mk5 golf gti, I would say the cooper s is much more fun. Not quicker, but it's great to throw around, and the sound of the supercharger is great.

However it's not the most practical car and it is really stiff.

Found the golf rather boring and felt like it needed an extra 30bhp to be anything special.

Spend £500-£1000 on the mini and you have a mini rocket ship, a new exhaust, cold air intake and reduced pulley should see you 200bhp, then it's a right laugh.

Not a big fan of any of those hot hatch. Would rather have the latest Megane.

Fortunately it doesn't - it feels a lot more agile and involving than that. Methinks widening the track by a significant amount and the somewhat more narrowly defined target audience for the Scirocco really opened up the window of opportunity for the chassis engineers. smile

OP, are you the new "Welshbeef"?

In the last month or so, you've started threads asking for opinions on the Audi S4, Merc C180, V8 cars in general, pre '89 911s, and now hot hatches!
