Anyone else like to tailor their Grand Prix grub to the host country? Some may call it a bit sad but nuts to them, feel free to share your F1 food plans here. With last week's rather dull race I was particularly pleased I'd whipped up a nice paella to enjoy.

For Monaco I was thinking moules et frites but that is more of a Northern French thing I think...

In my house, every race starts with Grand Prix bacon.

Will be mexican tonight (coverage is on at 22:00). Chicken fajitas with home made tortilla, taco sauce and sour cream served with a side salad.

Gin & tonic for herself, tea for me and saving a beer for the racewith it being a school night.

my grandprix-working lunch will blend the race, a salad (maybe french dressing wink and a side portion of particle dynamics revision for the 'boring' bits in the race !

Nice idea, but my reality is starting the day with bacon sandwiches and coffee and usually having a baquette the size of a drainpipe for lunch on a Sunday.

I never said I was going to make it. It was the only food that I can find that relates to Monaco specifically.

Anyone decided what they're doing food wise tomorrow? Other than getting a donner and chips from the local takeaway!

I went out for Turkish on Sunday night. Olives and bread, Mized Meze starter and a plate of mixed meats, rice, veg and proper chilli sauce. Beautiful.

So, what are the suggestions for Canada then?

I'm thinking the Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich myself...

Maple chicken sounds nice! I might just be lazy and do pancakes with maple syrup.
